As Head of Art, Design and Technology, you will:
Lead and develop a cohesive Art, Design and Technology curriculum across KS3–KS5
Drive attainment and progress, building on already strong outcomes
Manage and support a team of specialist teachers and technicians
Ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all disciplines within Art, Design and Technology
Promote enrichment opportunities, including exhibitions and partnerships
The ideal Head of Art, Design and Technology will have:
QTS and a strong academic background in a relevant subject
Proven track record of teaching Art, Design and Technology to a high standard
Previous middle leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Art, Design and Technology role
Ability to lead on curriculum design and departmental strategy
Commitment to inclusion, particularly supporting pupils with SEND and EHCPs
