These performances are provided for those who use British Sign Language. The interpreter will be at the front of the stage and lit with a spotlight. They will provide a linguistic and artistic interpretation of the show for people who are D/deaf or for whom BSL is their preferred language.

Age Guidance
The Snowflake is for everyone over 5. Our shows for this age group have storylines that can be followed by children from around age 5. They work for a wide age range and there will be elements for the older children and adults in the audience to appreciate, for example music, puppetry techniques, more complex ideas, language or humour. Children under the recommended age can often enjoy the visuals but may not follow everything, and may not stay engaged. If the show contains any parts likely to be scary or upsetting for anyone, these will be mentioned in the FAQ below.

Fuelling the imagination through the magic and wonder of puppetry
Little Angel Theatre (LAT) has used puppetry to create and share inspiring stories since opening its doors in 1961; igniting the imaginations of the youngest minds. The theatre’s success has been built upon a spirit of artistic innovation. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of what puppetry can be, whilst preserving its heritage.

Not only do we produce our own shows for children and young people, which play in-house and tour nationally and internationally, we also welcome puppetry companies from around the UK and overseas to perform on our stages.

Alongside our work on stage, our creative learning department delivers imaginative education and participatory activities in our venues, in schools and in community settings.

LAT aims to fuel the imagination through the magic and wonder of puppetry. We do this on stage, on screen, in schools, in the community and through training and professional development:
