About This Deal
In our series Community Threads, we bring together the creative individuals who make up our TOAST shop teams and explore the ways in which they thoughtfully style pieces from our new collections.
In this instalment, we visit our Islington shop. With a natural wood floor and extended rear mezzanine, it is situated on Upper Street in a conservation area, TOAST Islington is located among theatres, galleries, shops and is a stone's throw from the Camden Passage.
Sage
Sage has been working at TOAST Islington since September 2024. She recently visited the Marisol exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark. “I love her combination of pop art with folk art and use of satire in her wooden sculptures and especially enjoyed her collaborations designing props and costumes for contemporary ballet performances.”
Closer to home, she enjoys the calm of Hampstead Heath, walking through the woodlands, sitting in the meadows and swimming in Kenwood Ladies’ Pond.
Sage is a 5’5” and wears a UK 6. She has chosen the Button Through Cotton Linen Poplin Dress. “I appreciate the versatility of the button through style, with the option to wear it as a dress or layering piece. The cinched waist adds a textural element that creates a beautifully elevated look.”

Designing for Longevity
We make long-lasting clothing designed to be worn every day. Our shapes are simple but functional; materials are carefully chosen for their beauty, quality and durability.
The colours we use are rooted in nature, creating a palette of considered shades from deepest indigo to ochre.
Each piece is designed with great care, using natural materials where possible, to ensure they can be worn and loved for a lifetime.
Our Circle initiatives are guided by the belief that we have a responsibility to care for our clothes. We continuously explore resourceful ways to keep our garments in use for longer.
